Ortum Talisman

This tactile silver talisman is inspired by the jewellery of Ancient Rome. O R T U M translates from Latin as Rebirth or 'To Rise'. Inscribed in the form of a message; a reminder to stay present in life, to remember that everything is transitory. We can choose to reset in any given moment and rise again from the ashes.

The obverse of the piece also features an imprint from an ancient Roman coin, which is equally satisfying in it's tactile form and design.

Hand carved in jewellers wax and cast using the ancient 'Lost Wax Casting Method' in recycled sterling silver and hand finished in the Lunaflux home studio.
